TR10Pro Field Marking: Setup and Preparation Checklist

Preparing a field-marking job means more than choosing a pitch template. Before using a TR10Pro, agree the layout, check the positioning workflow and confirm how the painted result will be accepted. This practical checklist helps teams prepare a repeatable job without assuming that one machine setting fits every venue.

Confirm the task before selecting equipment

The TR10Pro field-marking robot is intended for sports-field marking. Its current datasheet lists templates including soccer, American football, lacrosse and baseball, together with custom-layout editing. Confirm the supplied software and template options for your configuration.

Sports-field line marking is different from road pre-marking. The intelligent marking robot overview separates those applications so buyers can start with the correct product path rather than select by model name alone.

Prepare a job sheet

  1. Layout: identify the sport, governing dimensions, orientation and any local venue constraints. Confirm which drawing or template is the approved version.
  2. Positioning: define the correction source, communications and field reference. Agree the checks used to verify the layout before paint is applied.
  3. Surface: inspect the field and operating area. Note obstacles, surface condition, access restrictions and any locations requiring manual review.
  4. Paint and line: confirm the paint suitability, desired line width and equipment settings against the operating instructions.
  5. Operation: assign the operator, review safety arrangements and plan how to pause or recover the equipment if the job is interrupted.
  6. Acceptance: agree who checks the finished lines and how exceptions will be recorded.

Check corrections and the field reference

Where the configuration uses network corrections, verify service coverage, credentials and connectivity before the marking session. The VRS and CORS solution page introduces network correction options. A service subscription or a connected display does not itself prove the field layout is correct.

Check the field origin, orientation and relevant dimensions using the venue’s agreed method. Record the approved setup. Repeat the required checks after a configuration change, reconnection or interruption; do not silently reuse an unverified setup.

Run a small preparation check

The July 2026 TR10Pro datasheet lists a 15-litre paint tank and an adjustable nozzle width of 5–15 cm. These are equipment specifications, not a guarantee of paint consumption, line quality or completion time at your venue. Actual preparation depends on the paint, surface, layout and operating conditions.

Confirm the appropriate paint and dilution instructions, check the spray system and review the required line width. Where the operating procedure allows it, evaluate a short test section before committing to the full layout. Record the settings that produced an acceptable result and investigate uneven or interrupted lines before continuing.

Keep the result traceable

Save the layout version, positioning arrangement, operator, date, paint setup and field checks. Mark any interrupted sections or corrections that need inspection. Review the result against the approved layout, not simply whether the robot completed its route.

For wider context, the GNSS guidance and machine-control guide explains why positioning, configuration and task checks belong in the same workflow. It is not evidence that a particular marking job has achieved a specified tolerance.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use a football template without checking the field?

No. Confirm the applicable dimensions, orientation, reference and available space before marking. A software template does not replace venue approval.

Does the maximum operating speed predict my job time?

No. Setup, layout, surface conditions, paint preparation, interruptions and inspection all affect the time required. Avoid treating a product specification as a measured productivity result.

Can TR10 and TR10Pro be treated as interchangeable?

No. Review the intended application and the current product documentation. Road pre-marking and sports-field marking have different requirements.

What information helps a configuration review?

Send your country, sport or layout, field size, surface type, correction preference and planned marking frequency. Add any existing venue specification or approved drawing.
